Calendula and Marshmallow Salve – no added essential oils

This salve is a simple and light skin healing and moisturizing blend.

The finished product is uncomplicated.  Hand harvested in the summer sun, Calendula officinalis is dried more than half way and then sun and warm infused into Safflower oil.  This is then blended into safflower oil which has had a long slow warm infusion of Marshmallow Root (Althaea officinalis).  The result is very moisturizing, demulcent, and regenerative for the skin and tissues.

No essential oils have been added, making it very gentle for those with super sensitive and irritated patches on the skin, cuticles, and calluses.
